Stupid me! Part 2

Lucky me another disgrace happened after i had my accident. As i was waiting for my leg to recover, i almost lost my left eye simply because of my stupidity and ignorance i think or maybe i just forget some pointers of hygiene for taking care of eyes. Yes, it's mainly because of the contact lens im wearing. I didnt know that certain bacteria inhabits the container. Thats it! My eyes just turned red and very painful. So I hurriedly call my coordinator and see a doctor. No doctor on the EDA hospitaI so we ran down on an eye clinic nearby and the doctor examined and gave me some eye drops. I never notice that the bacteria is slowly eating my cornea. Causing a hole which appears as a white spot on my cornea. Next morning, no signs of improvement still red and painful. Worst thing is that my vision on my left eye is getting more blurred because the hole is getting bigger and slowly covering the pupil. I hurriedly call my coordinator asking him to come pick me up at our dorm for im afraid im gettin blind. So David hurriedly came to me and cancelled all his appointments. So again we went to EDA hospitak thank God this time the doctor is available. . . I didnt know how serious my eye had become. It was so close to getting blind. . The doctor said that it was too late there is no hope of getting it better. He just gave me eye drops better than the doctor, from the last clinic we had been, prescribed me.
We didn't stop from there. We seek for second opinion. As we are travelling along the road, i could hardly open my eye and stare at beyond the heat of the sun. It was so painful. It felt like there's a sharp object stabbing my eye. I could hardly see.. .
At last, we arrived at the hospital. . We rushed to the ER for admission. . I went see the doctor for series of ewams. Same findings. . Ive noticed they prescribed same medicine, but they add up more dosage. At least i was in the hospital, i was monitored through time. . . I felt some improvements but that time, my vision is so vague, just like seeing through stained glass. I could barely notice who is coming. ..
Days later i was disbharged from the hospital. I continue my medication at home. . . My eye got better but i couldnt bring back my former vision. No eyeglass can correct my eyesight. At least i can still see. . Better than blind! . . Wheeeww! Lucky me!
